Even if you previously had a wind mitigation test done you will be required to have another one done by the time your home owner’s insurance renews.  The state was hiring any “Joe Blow” and insurance companies caught on and are requiring it to be completed by a licensed specialist.  Check with your personal homeowner’s on their requirements.  This costs around $150.00 but can save you anywhere from $400.00- $2,000.00.  I personally saved $1,400.00 a year.
